The original comes from Astypalaia, Dodecanese, and is part of the Collection of the Benaki Museum of Greek Culture.

The Benaki Museum Shop presents the annual #Project,
a creative initiative that invites artists, designers, and craftsmen to transform
a simple, everyday object into a collectible work of art.
Each year the project takes on a new theme—ranging from the plain white T-shirt to a piece of cloth, a ceramic plate or a piece of mirror—exploring
the balance between functionality and artistic expression.
The works are donated by the participants, and all proceeds support cultural and educational initiatives of the Museum.
